Product Description

The 1100 Series posts are ADA Compliant. Posts feature a lowered tape cartridge to ensure that visually impaired people can detect the tape using a cane or a seeing eye dog. The cartridge is lowered to less than 27" above the floor, fully complying with ADA regulation 4.4.1 concerning protruding objects. This post has two advantages in one: provides easy crowd control solutions, and provides safety to visually impaired persons! End piece features a locking mechanism that prevents the tape from accidentally sliding out. Simply pull back to release valve and slide up to release. Belt retracts slowly to prevent injuries.
