Product Description

The 1600 series horizontal mailboxes were developed for use in large private installations not serviced by the USPS like military bases, colleges, and office buildings.

The compartment size, smaller than USPS regulations, is very convenient when wall space is limited because more mailboxes fit in each module. The private distribution 1600 mailboxes do meet all other regulations.

Each tenant door measures 4"W x 5"H with a 5-pin cam lock, 2 keys, and a clear plastic number slot for tenant identification. Please note that one door must be used as a master door and not a tenant door. However, it can be used as an outgoing mail slot or dropbox upon request.
