The 1600 series horizontal, front-loading mailboxes were developed for use in large private installations not serviced by the USPS such as military bases, universities, colleges, and office buildings.

The compartment size of this locking 26-door system is smaller than USPS regulations, convenient when walls have limited space because more mailboxes fit in each module. The private distribution 1600 series mailbox units do meet all other regulations.

Each tenant door measures 4" x 5" with a 5-pin cam lock, two keys, and a clear plastic number slot for tenant identification. Please note that one door will be used as a master door and although it cannot be used as a tenant door, it can be used as an outgoing mail slot or office dropbox upon request.

  • 9 doors high, 3 doors wide
  • Heavy-gauge aluminum construction
  • 16-1/2" deep
  • Also available in bronze and gold
  • Front loading
  • Dimensions: 14"W x 17"D x 49-3/4"H
