These 40-door rear-loading 1700 series horizontal mailboxes are designed for use in large, private installations not serviced by the USPS, including colleges, offices, and military bases. Each tenant compartment measures 4" x 5" and features a 5-pin cam lock, two keys and a clear plastic number slots for tenant identification.

The smaller compartment size does not meet USPS size regulations, however because more mailboxes fit into each module, it is useful when wall space is limited. These private distribution 1700 series high-security mailbox systems meet all other USPS regulations.
